Michaelangelo and King of the Hill

One of Z's final product.
Me, Jarom, Nora, Z.. Created by Nora. One of her many masterpieces

Jarom as a cartoon. Created by none other than Jarom himself.

Is this a real genuine smile from Jarom?? Crazy. Pictured is Jarom and his two Cartoon Drawing Camp teachers. Jarom has some real talent, like his cousin Alec. It is fun to see him develop his own creative style.
Nora and Z went to Art Camp and studied Michelangelo and his work. They even got to paint on their backs. Although Nora looks less than pleased here, she had a great time. Z made a great.. mess. Big shout out to Dixie State College, my alma mater.. for putting on such creative week long camps, for a great price too!

Main Street Park, Bring your WETSUIT?

Crystal had a little get together for her two boys Bdays. There is this neat little water park/splash pad over on Main. Z was determined to be ready for the depths of these harsh waters. Equipped with his Wake-boarding Wetsuit, Goggles, and a Snorkle we headed out. Nora on the other hand would not change out of her favorite outfit, which I am sure you have noticed she wears... all the time. Jarom got to catch up with us late due to jammin over at the Academy.  We had a great time, with rad friends, and plenty of goofy kids. I love it here.. :)

Cooking Camp

The girls attended Cooking Camp, and learned how to make Monkey Bread, amongst other things. I think they had a great time. I really enjoyed Hailey's stories of events that unfolded while there. Such as, the girl who locked herself in a clubhouse, and the mean girl who was just jealous that Nora was Hailey's cousin.

Lasers, Golf, and Good Old Fashioned Food.

I love Alec and Jarom's expression in the first picture. Seriously ready to Laser anyone that  gets in their way. The two boys went Laser Tagging, while we hit up the glow in the dark mini golf. I love the themes they have at each hole. Really creative.
After we headed to IceBerg for some Fried Food, which is always good times.

Mis Keet.

We went to "Grandpa's Pool" on Thursday. I am not sure Kenice knew I was taking her kids to two other states. Alec thought it was pretty cool.  Thanks Dad for having us. I love hanging with you poolside in 110 heat. Because my Dad is so cool, the heat wasn't unbearable.
Side note: Have you ever noticed Nevadadians have an average of 7 teeth? Hmm.

Yay for Cousins!

Alec and Hailey are coming to stay with us for a few days, Yay! We are excited to do the following requests:
Hailey: swim, swim, swim.
Alec: The movie, swim, and "the usual stuff you do in St George". ( I imagine this translates to eat, sleep, swim, computer games, and wii)

Little Shredder and Trendsetter Z

Here is Mr. Z at Skateboard Camp for his age. Someone once told me Z would be a trendsetter type kid. I have to agree. I believe he started the movement of skating shirtless on this particular day. I love this kid. Another little plug for Lip Trix. Seriously rad guys, and what a great event they put on. Go shop em.

You Spot it You Got it

I love visitors!! Especially Old friends. Thanks Joel for hanging out with us, bringing us Cafe Rio, and chattin' us up. You have such great insight, understanding, and compassion. I should know.... you spot it you go it, right? :)
I also love to see Cami when she comes to visit. She has been my buddy for almost 20 years. I am so lucky to have friends like these. They make me happy. Oh, can't forget to mention Crystal and Melissa, featured in the pics above. What awesome friends they are. I don't know what St George life would be like without them. They are such amazing people.

Petapalooza Pet Camp

Nora and Z attended Petapalooza Pet Camp this week. They learned how to take care of animals, and Nora of course was in heaven. I think Nora loves animals more than anything. She is such a fun kid. This pic is with their Camp leader, and the baby turtles.

Future Grinders Skate Camp

I love St George. How rad is it that they have a Skate Camp for kids? Jarom had a blast, and especially enjoyed the Pro who came. He stayed after the last day of camp and got to skate alone with him. He had him sign his shirt, his skateboard, his helmet, and his... shoes. haha. Jarom also came home with so many skate stickers that I'm sure his helmet is even safer now with all the stickers added on for padding. Its amazing how much he learned in a week. Go support Lip Trix (buy stuff) for sponsoring such a cool camp.

Toads and Trails

A huge Thank You to my one of my best friends ShaRee for inviting us up to Enterprise, again. We love it up there. Every time we get home, my kids ask when we get to go again. We enjoyed the three hour 4 wheeling ride, Toad chasing, wildflowers, air soft guns, food, and most of all the company.

Yogurt and Grills

We were lucky to have the Smith's and the Hughes stop by for a quick visit. Grant and Karen had a little get away for their Anniversary and we got to hang with Gavin and Reese. Gavin is such a funny kid. Jarom and him are little buddies. On Saturday we got to meet up with Jave and Jannell, who were down with friends. We had Neilsens Yogurt, and good conversation.

Kitties and Four Wheeling

We went up to Rattlesnake for some cooler weather. We got to stop by ShaRee's moms to get the four wheelers and spend time with these little kittens. Nora was in heaven. Rattlesnake is crazy! I love it. I can't wait to share it with my family. It is such an original and beautiful place.

Mini Golf

It's amazing how much personality comes out when playing a silly game. Jarom was "PAR!!!" almost every hole, and let everyone know it. Although I am pretty sure that in the real game of golf, you cant have "re-do's". Z was wacking the ball so hard I am surprised it didn't end up in the water. He didn't care how many times it took to get to the hole, he was just having fun. Nora has this amazing putt. The golf club actually stays attached to the ball helping it find its way to the hole. Very gently of course.
